Mounting Anti-Semitism

temple-mount-and-western-wallThe United Nations, arguably the most anti-Semitic political organization on Earth, just passed a resolution denying Israel of any claims to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. UNESCO instead gave all rights to the structures to Islam, a religion formed hundreds of years AFTER the holy sites were erected.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) renewed the resolutions that criticized Israel for what it says are its policies that restrict Muslim access to a site considered holy by both Jews and Muslims in Jerusalem’s Old City.

The site is revered by Jews and Muslims alike, known to Jews as Temple Mount and to Muslims as the al-Aqsa compound or Haram al-Sharif (which is the Arabic translation for ‘Noble Sanctuary’).

But a draft of the latest version of the resolution, posted on UNESCO’s website and dated Oct 12, showed the site repeatedly described only by its Muslim names – something Israel says amounts to a denial of its Jewish history.

Many U.S. politicians spoke out against this ridiculous resolution, but a more powerful option would be to finally expel the United Nations from the country. This racist, anti-Semitic cesspool does far more harm than good.

  1. The UN belongs in The Hauge. Or Brussels. Ship it out, and, as the saying goes, tear it down, scatter the stones, and salt the earth where it stood.
