Meet hipster douchebag George Ciccariello-Maher. George is a history professor at Drexel University, and when he isn’t indoctrinating his students, he is wallowing in white guilt… and patchouli oil.
A Drexel University professor, whose tweet that he wanted a “white genocide” for Christmas sparked a fire storm of criticism from the school and social media users, said on Monday his comment was satirical.
George Ciccariello-Maher, a white assistant professor of history and politics at the Philadelphia university, posted “All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide” on Twitter on Christmas Eve. He followed up on Sunday by tweeting, “To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian revolution, that was a good thing indeed.”
Oh yes, Haiti has been nothing but wine and roses since the whites were killed off. Jackass.
Drexel University, a private school with about 26,000 students, said in a statement it had contacted Ciccariello-Maher to schedule a meeting about the tweets.
Drexel said that although it recognized the right of faculty members to express their views, the comments were “utterly reprehensible, deeply disturbing, and do not in any way reflect the values of the University.”
It’s interesting how often liberals claim their racist, hate-filled comments are simply “satire” when they face backlash. Thankfully, the administration at Drexel at least implies they realize Ciccariello-Maher is a mustache on a penis. That’s a start.

All faculty has to sign a contract and as is the case at the University where I work, I am certain there is a whole section that deals with social media and what is and is not considered appropriate. This would be cause for firing his sorry a$$ even if he does have tenure (which I doubt since he is an assistant prof). If my kid went to Drexel, I would demand they fire his butt. I am certain the school is concerned that this will probably affect donor giving. A quick way to get action is to hit them in the pocketbook.
