Judicial Watch submitted a Freedom of Information Request for telephone transcripts from the Department of State the day of the Benghazi terrorist attack. The results will surprise, but not shock you.
Judicial Watch today released 54 pages of new State Department documents, including a transcript of a September 12 2012, telephone conference call with congressional staffers in which then-Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy admitted that the deadly terrorist assault on the Benghazi Consulate was not “under cover of protest,” but was, in fact, “a direct breaching attack.”
Remember, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and a multitude of other Obama flunkies assured us the attack was initiated by a YouTube video. The creator of the video was subsequently arrested and spent nine months in federal prison for a “probation violation.” All because of a lie.
There is more below the fold…
The transcript was posted on the Judicial Watch site, and it confirms what most of us knew after the first week. This attack had nothing to do with a video, and Hillary Clinton lied to the families of the four Americans killed that day.
The transcript was contained in an email from Julie K. Bulgrin, the State Department Bureau of Legislative Affairs director for Global and Functional Affairs:
*Rob Carter – was this an attack under the cover of a protest?
*No, this was a direct breaching attack.
*Do we have any ideas of who launched? Leads?
*Some claims from someone who has never made threat before, but everyone is looking at this closely.
*Do we believe coordinated w/Cairo?
*Attack in Cairo was a demonstration. There were no weapons shown or used. A few cans of spray paint.
Well they probably were using the spray paint to rally against the obscure video no one saw.
“This document removes any further doubt that the State Department and the Obama administration knew immediately after the assault on Benghazi that it was a well-orchestrated terrorist attack and not a ‘spontaneous demonstration’ over a ‘hateful video,’ as the Obama administration repeatedly claimed,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These documents show that the Benghazi scandal is not over … not by a long shot.” (H/T – AOSHQ)
I’d like to believe that, but I have no confidence anyone will ever be held accountable for their actions, which included leaving four Americans to die at the hands of Islamic terrorists.
By the way, say what you want about Michael Bay, but his film “13 Hours” was very good. It’s worth a watch.
