Clown Hall

This story has been sitting in my inbox for a few days, so I apologize for the delay. You know those rabid, boisterous Republican town halls> Well, the troublemakers are paid agitators. Shocker, huh?

I think this story is disgusting, but not surprising.

Leaked audio from an anti-Trump protest group meeting reveals activists with anti-Trump group Indivisible plotting how to best manufacture a hostile environment at a town hall with Sen. Bill Cassidy in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.

The audio reveals a coordinated effort to create the public impression that Cassidy’s support for Trump is unpopular with his constituents.

The audio also reveals the activists laughing about “the poor people of Breaux Bridge” — local constituents — who might get stuck behind them. Local news coverage of the town hall said that “many attendees were turned away” from the town hall due to “capacity restrictions.”

Indivisible is a satellite of Barack Obama’s Organizing for Action, so it’s nice to know Obama is sabotaging the new president from behind the curtain. It is, however, reassuring to see those disrupting the town halls are not disgruntled constituents, but paid troublemakers who live in mommy’s basement.

  1. “many attendees were turned away” That’s part of the playbook. Paid activists are advised to get to events early and get close to the front. Normal people don’t tend to go to such events (other than presidential rallies that require a lot of security) hours before they start. This ensures that there will be a high percentage of activists to constituents.

  2. They want to do whatever they have to in order to get his Trump out of the White House. And it sounds more and more as if Obama plans to get even more involved in the coming days according to Eric Holder.
