Today’s sermon digs its claws into an actor I cannot believe I haven’t profiled before: Hugh Jackman.
Hugh Michael Jackman (born 12 October 1968) is an Australian actor, singer and producer. He is known for his long-running role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, as well as for his lead roles in films such as the magic-themed drama The Prestige (2006), and the film version of Les Misérables (2012). His work in Les Misérables earned him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
Jackman has expressed an interest in football, committing his support to Norwich City FC. In the United States, Jackman supports the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer, attending a game at PPL Park in June 2010.
Holy crap, Wolverine is a Union fan? I didn’t think it was possible to like him more!
There are more photos below the fold…
There may be another actor to play the role, but like Sean Connery and James Bond, Hugh Jackman will always be Wolverine.
Apparently Jackman cleans up well, too. Although I guess most women prefer him dirty.
Australia has cowboys? Who knew?
The services have ended. You may now go in peace… to your bunks.
