Never Put Rachey In A Corner

MSNBC’s Brian Williams has been disciplined after he reportedly “patronized” Rachel Maddow. I’m assuming the “patronizing” involved a smug sense of self-satisfaction, and not sex-for-money.

Brian Williams has been rebuked by MSNBC for being “patronizing” to the network’s biggest star, Rachel Maddow.

After Williams hijacked Maddow’s show to break the Syria missile news earlier this month, he turned to her live on air at the end of the segment and said,“Thanks for visiting tonight. Glad you were a part of our coverage.”

That’s not fair; Rachel’s a good dude.

Fans of Maddow — who has been enjoying a massive ratings surge recently — erupted on social media, also accusing MSNBC of being sexist by bringing in a male anchor to break the big news on Maddow’s 9 p.m. show when she could have handled it better herself.

According to the report, nearly twenty of MSNBC’s twenty-three viewers called to complain. Williams stated he has not been called on the carpet since he reported “Dewey Defeats Truman” as a rookie scribe in 1948.

  1. I think it is hilarious that they two male reporters are “duking it out” in public. The left is as fractured and hypocritical as ever.

  2. Mike – Ha, nice!

Cathy – It would probably shut her up, if nothing else.

Metoo – Trump Derangement Syndrome claims more victims.
