Veggie Tales

An elderly German man notified police after finding an alleged undetonated World War II bomb in his garden. Luckily the police were able to disarm the bomb and bake it in a nice loaf of bread.

An 81-year-old German man called police to tell them he found a World War II-era bomb in his garden, but when officers showed up, they found a large zucchini instead.

The man found the 11-pound, 15.7-inch-long vegetable Thursday in his back yard in Bretten in the southwest German state of Baden-Württemberg. He believed it to be a bomb, but upon arrival, police said they found a dark-colored zucchini.

Officers were able to dispose of the vegetable without having to call a bomb-disposal team.

In fairness to the elderly gentleman, eating the zucchini would have caused multiple fatalities.

  1. Proof – Mrs. Earp grew them in our garden and put them into bread loaves. The kids liked it, but I passed.

Ronni – It’s a false flag operation. Complain about armed zucchini while Germany builds another Reich.

Cathy – Yeah, it does not look appetizing.

TXNick – I thought baseball season was over. Oh, or is that “rhubarb?”
