VP Pence Comments On Mueller Probe

Vice President Mike Pence was interviewed by NBC this week, and stated he believes it’s time for Robert Mueller to finish his witch hunt investigation.

Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday that he believes it’s time for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to finish his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election and other potential misdeeds by people in President Donald Trump’s orbit.

Pence said the Trump administration has ‘fully cooperated’ with Mueller’s probe, including turning over more than 1 million documents. But he wouldn’t respond to a question about whether he agrees with the president that the case is a ‘hoax.’

‘In the interests of the country, I think it’s time to wrap it up,’ Pence told NBC News in an airplane hangar following the return home of three Americans who had been held prisoner by North Korea. ‘I would very respectfully encourage the special counsel and his team to bring their work to completion,’ Pence added.

I find it hard to argue with his sentiments. It’s been a year, and Mueller’s team hasn’t come up with anything substantial against the president. Even the indictments he did issue were mostly for process crimes. This is nothing more than a fishing expedition, and someone – looking at you, Jeff Sessions – needs to step in.

It’s time to give Robert Mueller the Wrap It Up Box…

    1. And now we know there was collusion between Mueller and Comey. Our Justice Dept is so out of control and dishonest. And don’t even get me started on spineless Jeff Sessions.
