The NHL preseason is underway, which mans hockey will soon be back! In that vein, today’s subject is Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn.
Jamie Randolph Benn (born July 18, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who currently serves as captain of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Benn played his junior hockey career with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League (WHL) prior to turning professional. He represented Canada at the 2009 World Junior Championships, where he helped capture a gold medal. With Team Canada, he won a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. He is the younger brother of defenseman Jordie Benn, who plays for the Montreal Canadiens, and a former teammate of Jamie. In the 2014–15 season, Benn was awarded the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s leading scorer with 87 points.
Jamie is a stud, and arguably the best (or second best; Tyler Sequin is awesome) player on the team. Like most hockey players, he is also very humble, which is why there were very few candid photos of him on the innerwebz.
There are more photos below the fold…
Jamie works hard, so he sleeps hard. I, on the other hand, sleep hard and hardly work at all.
Jamie has terrific flow; hockey guys always have the best hair.
See ladies, now you have to tear all that equipment off him.
The services have ended. You may now go in peace.
