Alaskan Senator Lisa Murkowski sealed her reputation as the most despicable GOP senator in the country last week, when she voted “present” during the Kavanaugh vote. Now, the Alaskan GOP would like a word with Murkowski; preferably one starting with the letter “f.”
The state Republicans are weighing the options on whether or not to withdraw support from the Alaska senator, Tuckerman Babcock, the Alaska GOP chairman, said. Murkowski was the only Republican senator to defect from the party and oppose Kavanaugh’s nomination. The committee is also considering requesting Murkowski abstain from seeking re-election when her term ends in 2022.
Republicans in Alaska were reportedly outraged over her decision, according to Babcock. But Murkowski told the AP that she has done her job as a senator because she was not concerned with the political backlash.
Even if the Alaskan GOP pulled their support, Murkowski would run as an Independent, which is how she was re-elected in 2010. She split the vote, and won over an actual conservative. Murkowski is the poster girl for term limits, and for paper bags.
I am so sick and tired of people re-electing these darn RINOs. Hope she gets zero dollars from the GOP moving forward.

Ronni – I would respect her more if she embraced her progressive nature and switched parties. Of course, if she did, she wouldn’t be reelected.

Which explains why she remains a Republican in Name Only. I do hope the conservatives in Alaska unvote her from office next election.
