Sunday Services

Editor’s note: We put mom into the assisted living residence yesterday. It did not go well. Between yelling at us, and telling us she wanted to die – in front of Mrs. Earp, who lost her father to cancer in March – it was arguably the worst day of my life. I only mention that to explain why I was scarce yesterday.

As for Sunday Services, today’s subject is the appropriately named Holly Madison, who celebrates a birthday today.

Holly Madison (December 23, 1979) is a model, showgirl, television personality, and New York Times best-selling author. Madison is known for her role in the E! reality television show, The Girls Next Door and for her own series, Holly’s World.

In July 2015, Madison released her first book and memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. In May 2016, she released her second book, The Vegas Diaries: Romance, Rolling the Dice, and the Road to Reinvention detailing her career and dating life in Las Vegas.

With the exception of shtupping Hugh Hefner, Holly’s kinda hawt. There are more photos below the fold…

It’s as if she’s lying there waiting for me. I should run to her!

Holly possesses both the qualities guys require; namely, big boobs.

She’s also not afraid of manual labor. Yeah, get all in the nooks and crannies…

The services have ended. You may now go in peace.

  1. Last week was nasty for all sorts of people. You and yours are in my prayers. Hoping your mom will find the facility filled with some friendly people with whom she can enjoy good company.

  2. Sorry to hear about the problems that you’re having. My wife and I went through exactly the same thing with both of our mothers…………..

  3. RG – It’s crazy nice there and it’s a highly rated residence. Plus, she’s in the memory unit, and the docs will try to treat her and help keep her mind busy.

Tam – It’s never easy, and when Mom was screaming at us about putting her in a home, I lost some cool and replied, “Mom, you did the same thing to your mother.” Naturally, she didn’t remember. I’m just glad we didn’t bring the kids. They didn’t need that stress.

Mike – And by “lightly,” I assume you mean triple-bad the Johnson.

  4. My friend’s mother-in-law was moved to a facility over on the coast (nearer to her daughter). When she saw where they were taking her, she looked at my friend’s husband & said “you lied to me”. Naturally, he was heartbroken. The doctors & nurses told them that this was her home now, she just had to get used to the change. A couple of months later, her room had been decorated with things from when she was younger & first married. They went to visit & take her out for ice cream. When they took her back to the facility, she walked in to her room, saw her pictures & said “My Home!” with a big smile that lit up the room.

    1. Thanks. We want to have her here tomorrow for Christmas Day, but she’s still really angry and we don’t want the kids to see her that way. So sadly, it’ll be a game time decision.
