He Has Maddy Issues

While I voted for him in 2012, I have never been a fan of Mitt Romney. In my opinion, he has always been a smarmy weasel who was more comfortable with leftists than conservatives. That said, the flak he received after claiming Russia was America’s biggest geopolitical foe was wholeheartedly undeserved.

Now, one of those leftist hacks has apologized to Romney, albeit seven years later.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright apologized to Mitt Romney on Tuesday for previously mocking his 2012 description of Russia as the country’s top geopolitical foe.

Reporters tweeted Albright offered a mea culpa to now-Sen. Romney (R., Utah), then the 2012 GOP nominee, at a House Intelligence Committee hearing, saying “we underestimated what was going on with Russia.”

Romney’s comment in a CNN interview that Russia was “our No. 1 geopolitical foe” was widely viewed as a gaffe by Democrats and the media. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden mocked his “Cold War” mindset, and then-Sen. John Kerry (D., Mass.) said it was a “preposterous notion.” (H/TAOSHQ)

This pathetic scrunt knew Romney was correct in 2012, and she magnanimously apologizes seven years later? Go. F**k. Yourself.

OH, BY THE WAY:

Eleven years on WordPress, and nearly fourteen years overall blogging. Lord, I’m getting old.

  1. Isn’t the Secretary of State supposed to be the most in-tune with international relations? Wouldn’t you think a retired SoS would still have their fingers on the pulse of these things? Unless, of course, the person in question was a useless, political hack.

Take your 8 year old apology and stick it up your flabby, wrinkled ass Maddie.

  2. CJB – She knew Russia was still a great threat, but her loyalty was always to Obama and the Democrats, so she lied – like Harry Reid – to embarrass Mittens. I don’t like Romney – at all – but wrong is wrong.

  3. I sat that election out. I was busy working in AZ at the time, and since I, in good conscience, vote for Mittens nor his RINO running mate, Paul Ryan, didn’t bother. In 2016, I voted for Sarah Palin for V.P., and held my nose as I cast my ballot. Nothing against Sarah, I just wish she had been on the top of the ticket with a strong conservative as a running mate.

Madeleine should go back to Pyongyang and play some more basketball with her buddy Kim Jong Un, since his dad is fossilized and at ambient temperature. Hopefully, she will be like him soon.

    1. Remember in 2016, good ole Maddie saying that there a special place in hell for women that don’t vote for Hillary? Where was the wrinkled old slug in 2008? Like you, I voted for Sarah, but I got disgusted when the “war hero” McCain wouldn’t stand up & say “bring the fight to me, I’m the one running for President”

Congrats, Wyatt, for keeping the blog of joy (or something) up & running all these years.

  4. I day I saw Albright running after Arafat was the day I truly believed the dems were worthless.
Thank you for this blog. I come here often every day.

  5. TXNick – I didn’t really vote for Mittens as much as I voted against Obama.

MelP – You misspelled “poi.” And yes, Palin was an actual conservative, as opposed to Juan McLame.

Cathy – My original first day was June 6 2005 when I was on Blogger. Fourteen years later, Blogger is still an awful platform, in my opinion.

    Proof – I don’t look a day over 156, though.
