Willard Embraces His Inner Rat

Good news, everyone! Mitt Romney is back in the news, doing what he does best; pretending he is a conservative and criticizing President Trump.

“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” he wrote, after characterizing as “good news” the fact that there was “insufficient evidence” to charge Trump with a crime.

“I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine,” he continued.

Funny, I guess Mittens forgot to criticize the multiple members of the Clinton campaign and Obama administration who conspired to spy on the Trump campaign and American citizens. It’s okay, Mitt, I’m sure you’ll get to that in good time.

This has been mentioned before, but it bears repeating. Mitt Romney begged the president to nominate him for Secretary of State. The president declined, but he did endorse Romney for the Utah senate seat. Since his election, Romney has done everything possible to deride the president and his administration. It’s a shame the people of Utah didn’t have better judgment while casting their votes.

  1. Romney is a true RINO as is Kasich. And they are both sore losers and will never get over the fact that Trump was elected president.
