Supreme Count Trounces Ninth Circuit

The Supreme Court embarrassed the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Thursday, after they attempted to void a federal law forbidding people to entice illegals to stay in the country.

The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal statute that forbids encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. unlawfully in a decision Thursday.

The Supreme Court justices voided an earlier decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional on the grounds it violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech. The ruling by the nation’s highest court Thursday upholds the law.

The Supreme Court not only vacated the appeals court’s decision, but also criticized the judges for “drastically” straying from judicial norms.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal stalwart of the bench, wrote the high court’s opinion.

Ruth. Bader. Ginsburg. When the biggest leftist on the Supreme Court effectively says you’re hacks, you know your previous opinion is an unmitigated disgrace.

  1. Proof – It’s become exceedingly more difficult to get an unanimous decision from this Court, and yet here we are.

Cathy – MSNBC is probably cueing the chryons.

    Rob – Oh, most definitely.

  2. TX Nick – Not to mention the “wise Latina.”

Veeshir – Or to take a page from Red Foxx, you could put her face in some dough and make gorilla cookies.
