Mister Moran Is Definitely A Moron

Meet Steven Moran of Flori-Duh.

Steven was ready to be released from the county jail on a misdemeanor, and as he was leaving, he decided it was the perfect time to grab a souvenir.

As he was preparing to leave jail after posting bond, a Florida Man decided that was the perfect time to steal a $60 webcam off a desk in the county lockup, according to an arrest affidavit.

Steven Moran, 35, was arrested last month for criminal mischief and booked into the Indian River County jail on the misdemeanor charge. Moran, a Vero Beach resident, is pictured above.

While Moran was “awaiting release in the booking area,” he disconnected a Logitech webcam from a jail computer and placed the device in his pocket, cops say. Moran subsequently departed the lockup upon posting $1000 bond.

It may not shock you to learn Steven was soon arrested for the webcam theft, and is not back in the county jail… because Moran is a moron.

  1. Maybe he realized he didn’t have busfare, or a place to stay, so he stared into the camera as he disconnected it, and waited on the bench outside the building for his next meal ticket?

  2. Mike AKA Proof – Perhaps he thought he’d go straight and clean the camera’s lens before returning it with a laurel and hearty handshake to the officers.

  3. Reminds me of an old tv show (maybe Laugh In?). The cops arrested someone & he’d get his free phone call, so he’d make an obscene phone call from the police station, so they’d charge him for that & he’d ask for his free phone call (yep obscene). This was repeated several times.
