About That “Insurrection”

I’m sure you all remember the January 6th “Insurrection,” where dozens and dozens of people were allowed to enter the U.S. Capitol while the Capitol Police and other staffers held the doors open for the “insurrectionists.”

Now, the vaunted heroes at the FBI have concluded there was no conspiracy or coordinated effort to attack the U.S. Capitol.

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.

The DoJ has been holding some of these alleged offenders since January 6th without due process. Here’s hoping every single one of them file lawsuits against this corrupt federal regime.

FBI investigators did find that cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups, had aimed to break into the Capitol. But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside, the sources said. . .

But one source said there has been little, if any, recent discussion by senior Justice Department officials of filing charges such as “seditious conspiracy” to accuse defendants of trying to overthrow the government. They have also opted not to bring racketeering charges, often used against organized criminal gangs.

Well, now that the FBI has decided there was no insurrection, maybe we can prosecute the Capitol police officer who murdered Ashli Babbitt in cold blood.

  1. The fact that people ever called it an “insurrection” is utterly stupid and outrageous.
Even if the evil, unarmed, folks had succeeded in their nefarious scheme, how is capturing the Capitol overthrowing the gov’t?

  2. The FBI knows this is true, because the FBI were probably the ones who set the whole thing up in the first place. They were successful in Michigan, so why not the Capitol? Sad day when citizens don’t trust the FBI, the FORMER premier law enforcement agency in the world. They are now topped by the Keystone Cops. It is to the point that I see no reason to trust those “good agents” either. You know, the ones that are decent guys and do a good job. Yeah, those guys, that are the whistle blowers on the bad FBI agents, supervisors, etc. Oh, wait, there aren’t any. Never mind.
