Philadelphia Is A Garbage City

A teenager was shot in the head and a older man was killed after a thug decided to go on a shooting spree outside a Northeast Philadelphia public high school.

The incident occurred a few blocks away from my son’s high school. Guess I’m bringing my gun to his lacrosse games from here on out.

A man was killed and a 16-year-old boy is fighting for life after they were shot near Lincoln High School in Philadelphia’s Mayfair section. The shooting happened on the 7400 block of Rowland Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Monday.

I live in Northeast Philly, and we rarely have shootings, let alone homicides here.

Police say the teen was shot once in the back of the head. He is currently in critical condition at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. A 65-year-old man was shot once in the head. He was later pronounced dead at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital.

The inner city thugs have been moving north slowly but surely the last few decades. Eventually they’ll overrun the few nice neighborhoods left, because our politicians don’t want white, blue collar workers; they want Democrats.

P.S. I just realized I started my twenty-eighth year in this department on Sunday.

  1. If it’s called Lincoln high it’s always a piece of shit. Why? I
And congrats on 28 years without a single death. You hide the bodies very well.

  2. Days left? I know more than 730, which is 2 years, which means you have to hang around over 30 yrs. More like around 3. The only thing that comes to mind is “Thank you for your service” which doesn’t seem adequate when the city forces you to get a shot you don’t want or need and wear a mask that doesn’t do squat. I’m with you on carrying when you go to lacrosse games. There are a lot of crazy people out there and many of them aren’t just nutjob thugs. Be careful out there.

    1. Any time I step outside my home I’m armed, except when I have to enter a “target rich environment,” A.K.A. a gun free zone. There is no guarantee of safety anywhere.

And for all the bad guys out there: I’m always near a weapon at home also. And I still do practice at the range.

  3. Cathy – It’s like every street named after MLK. Always in the absolute worst part of town.

Ronni – I think the older man was collateral damage. I guarantee the shooter was trying to kill the student.

RG – 1,109 days until I’m gone. But since I have 1,900 sick hours, I may run some time toward the end. I have three years and two weeks if I stay until the last day.

    1. I know it’s a long time, but you are only 110 days away from being into 3 digits. That should be a special day. Good for the psyche! Hang in there.
