Happy St. Patrick’s Day

For the record, I don’t really embrace my Irish roots because I embrace my Slovak heritage. That said, Mrs. Earp’s family has strong Irish roots, so I might as well post about the holiday.

While I am usually working on St. Patrick’s Day, this year I am daywork, so the family will be having traditional Irish food. The good news is Mrs. Earp will hook me up with something different for dinner.

So, if you’re into the Irish thing, I hope you have a great day. And while I don’t really celebrate the holiday, I do very much love a pint of Guinness now and then.

  1. Sullivan was my grandmothers maiden name. Lots of Irish going on my my family. Happy St Paddy’s Day to you and Mrs. Earp.

  2. And in Minnesota we have our Saint Urho, the Patron Saint of Finland. (Urho is “Hero” or Brave in Finnish.)

My parents were friends with a Mattson Family when we lived in Virginia in the 1950’s and 1960’s. I was born there. I do not know if it the Richard Mattson Family?
