Today’s services revolve around a beautiful actress who isn’t a despicable moonbat: Stacey Dash.

Stacey Lauretta Dash (born January 20, 1967) is an American actress and former talk show host. Dash is known for her co–starring role as Dionne Marie Davenport in the 1995 feature film Clueless and its eponymous television series. She has also appeared in films such as Moving, Mo’ Money, Renaissance Man, and View from the Top. Other television work by Dash includes appearances in series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She has also appeared in music videos for Carl Thomas’ “Emotional” and Kanye West’s “All Falls Down”.

After voting for Barack Obama in 2008, Stacey saw the light and became a conservative. As such, her peers in Hollywood shunned her, and her acting work suffered. In my opinion, she’s better off.

Today’s services center upon one of my favorite actresses, and for a long stretch, the hottest redhead in Hollywood: Dana Delany

Dana Welles Delany (March 13, 1956) is an American actress and producer. After appearing in small roles early in her career, Delany received her breakthrough role as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC television drama China Beach, for which she twice received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1989 and 1992. She received recognition for her appearances in the films Light Sleeper (1992), Tombstone (1993), Fly Away Home (1996), True Women (1997), and Wide Awake (1998).

Obviously, my favorite credit of Dana’s is Tombstone, and she’s ridiculously more beautiful than the woman who played Josie in Kevin Costner’s Wyatt Earp film. Easily.

Today’s services revolve around actor and model James Marsden.

James Paul Marsden (September 18, 1973) is an American actor, singer and former Versace model. Marsden began his acting career guest-starring in television shows Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Touched by an Angel, and Party of Five. He gained prominence with his portrayal of Scott Summers/Cyclops in the X-Men film series and starred in 2006’s Superman Returns. Since 2016, Marsden has starred as gunslinger Teddy Flood, a sentient android, in the HBO science fiction-western thriller series Westworld, as part of the main ensemble.

Marsden was a very good Cyclops in X-Men, and a terrific douchebag older brother in the vastly underrated Sex Drive. There are more photos below the fold…

Editor’s note: We put mom into the assisted living residence yesterday. It did not go well. Between yelling at us, and telling us she wanted to die – in front of Mrs. Earp, who lost her father to cancer in March – it was arguably the worst day of my life. I only mention that to explain why I was scarce yesterday.

As for Sunday Services, today’s subject is the appropriately named Holly Madison, who celebrates a birthday today.

Holly Madison (December 23, 1979) is a model, showgirl, television personality, and New York Times best-selling author. Madison is known for her role in the E! reality television show, The Girls Next Door and for her own series, Holly’s World.

In July 2015, Madison released her first book and memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. In May 2016, she released her second book, The Vegas Diaries: Romance, Rolling the Dice, and the Road to Reinvention detailing her career and dating life in Las Vegas.

With the exception of shtupping Hugh Hefner, Holly’s kinda hawt. There are more photos below the fold…

This week’s services are dedicated to The Office’s Jim Halpert – aka John Krasinski.

John Burke Krasinski (born October 20, 1979) is an American actor, screenwriter, film producer and director. He is the recipient of a number of accolades, including two Primetime Emmy Award nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018.

Krasinski played minor roles in movies and off-Broadway plays before he was cast in 2005 as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office, a role for which he received critical acclaim.

His film credits include License to Wed (2007), Leatherheads (2008), Away We Go (2009), It’s Complicated (2009), Something Borrowed (2011), Big Miracle (2012), Promised Land (2012), Aloha (2015), and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016). This year, he began portraying the title character in the Amazon thriller series Jack Ryan, which he also produces.

It may surprise you to learn the meek and mild Jim Halpert was a pretty good badass in 13 Hours. There are more photos below the fold…

This week’s services revolve around the first British woman I ever fell for: the lovely, talented, and indescribably delicious Helena Bonham Carter.

Helena Bonham Carter CBE (26 May 1966) is an English actress. She is known for her roles in both low-budget independent art films and large-scale blockbusters. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Kate Croy in The Wings of the Dove (1997). For her role as Queen Elizabeth in The King’s Speech (2010), she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Bonham Carter began her film career, playing the title character in Lady Jane (1986). Her other film roles include Ophelia in Hamlet (1990), Elizabeth Lavenza in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1994), and Marla Singer in Fight Club (1999).

She was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2012 New Year Honours list for services to drama, and in January 2014, the British prime minister, David Cameron, announced that Bonham Carter had been appointed to Britain’s new national Holocaust Commission.

Helena’s performance as Ophelia in 1990’s Hamlet did it for me. I’ve been mesmerized by her ever since. Truly a classic beauty.

This week’s subject is controversial, because while he was once the “it” guy, Johnny Depp has gone literally insane, and full-blown leftist. As if there’s a difference.

John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards and has won the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Actor. Depp rose to prominence on the 1980s television series 21 Jump Street, becoming a teen idol.

Depp has challenged himself by playing larger-than-life roles, including a supporting role in Oliver Stone’s 1986 Vietnam War film Platoon and the title character in the 1990 romantic dark fantasy Edward Scissorhands. He later found box office success in the fantasy adventure film Sleepy Hollow (1999), the fantasy swashbuckler film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and its sequels.

Depp has been nominated three times for the Academy Award for Best Actor. Depp won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his performance in the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

I’m not a fan of the man, personally, but he’s almost always excellent in his films.

Today’s services revolve around one of the hottest of the hot Asian chicks: actress Maggie Q.

Margaret Denise Quigley (born May 22, 1979), professionally known as Maggie Q, is an American actress, model and animal rights activist. She is known for starring in the action films Mission: Impossible III and Live Free or Die Hard and played the title role of The CW’s action-thriller series Nikita, airing from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, she portrayed Tori Wu in the film adaptation of Veronica Roth’s novel Divergent, a role she reprised in its sequels, Insurgent and Allegiant. Currently, she stars in the role of FBI Agent Hannah Wells in the political drama Designated Survivor.

Maggie was great in Mission Impossible III – especially in that ridiculous red dress. Drools. There are more photos below the fold…

Today’s services feature one of my all-time favorite actors, Denzel Washington.

Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. (born December 28, 1954) is an American actor, director, and producer. He has received three Golden Globe awards, a Tony Award, and two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for the historical war drama film Glory (1989) and Best Actor for his role as a corrupt cop in the crime thriller Training Day (2001).

Washington has received much critical acclaim for his film work since the 1980s, including his portrayals of real-life figures, such as South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko in Cry Freedom (1987), Muslim minister and human rights activist Malcolm X in Malcolm X (1992), boxer Rubin “Hurricane” Carter in The Hurricane (1999), football coach Herman Boone in Remember the Titans (2000), poet and educator Melvin B. Tolson in The Great Debaters (2007), and drug kingpin Frank Lucas in American Gangster (2007).

The man is literally ageless. He’ll be 64 next month and still looks like he’s in his forties. There are more photos below the fold…

I owe you folks an apology. Sunday Services is three years old, and by some unfathomable series of events, I have never profiled Kate Winslet; my favorite, most sploosh-worthy actress of all time.

Kate Elizabeth Winslet, CBE (born 5 October 1975) is an English actress. Winslet is the recipient of several accolades, including three British Academy Film Awards, and is among few performers to have won Academy, Emmy, and Grammy Awards.

Born in Reading, Berkshire, Winslet studied drama at the Redroofs Theatre School. Her first screen appearance, at the age of 15, was in the British television series Dark Season (1991). She made her film debut playing a teenage murderess in Heavenly Creatures (1994), and received her first BAFTA Award for playing Marianne Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility (1995). Global stardom followed soon after with her leading role in the epic romance Titanic (1997).

I’m going to proclaim an unpopular opinion: I really liked Titanic; mostly because Kate is absolutely stunning in it. Yes, Celine Dion’s song is insufferable, and yes, the old woman’s scenes were unnecessary, but Kate was flawless in every way. Simply gorgeous.
