The brilliant rocket surgeons who work at Baltimore’s Harbor Tunnel decided to test the tunnel’s pump at a rather inopportune time. In this case, they decided to let water flow in while cars were traversing the tunnel.
Good grief, and I thought Philadelphia was incompetent.
Testing of equipment in the Harbor Tunnel on Friday led water to flow into the tunnel.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said the Harbor Tunnel’s pump and fan systems valve was being tested. That equipment supplies water to the fire department in case of emergencies. It was inadvertently opened, allowing water to flow into the tunnel.
When crews realized the valve was opened, they took steps to close the valve to stop the flow of water, the MDTA said. There was no safety issue and no malfunction, MDTA officials said.
No, there was no safety issue, save for the hundreds of travelers who suffered heart attacks thinking a ship struck and ruptured the tunnel. Jackasses.
Representative Elijah Cummings is not only a corrupt leftist hack, but he’s also a racist blowhard who cares more about his financial statement than he does the people of Baltimore.
After days of trashing the president for telling the truth about “Charm City,” HUD Secretary invited Cummings to tour a facility with him in Baltimore. Guess what happened?
Maryland Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings declined an offer to tour a Baltimore Housing and Urban Development (HUD) facility with HUD secretary Ben Carson on Wednesday.
HUD invited Cummings to tour the facility with Carson on Tuesday, however Cummings rejected the invitation.
When asked about Cummings’ absence at a press conference, Carson said that he did not know why Cummings did not attend the tour but guessed there may have been a scheduling issue.
Yeah, a “”scheduling conflict.” I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact Cummings is a bloated coward who talks like a tough guy on MSNBC but in real life is a gigantic throbbing pussy.
Say hello to Joseph Philip Svezzese.
Joseph works hard, and he plays hard, especially on the weekends. He enjoys, skiing, lazy days at the beach, and robbing stores with unicorns.
A Bel Air man is one of two suspects charged in the armed robbery of a High’s store in Baltimore County over the weekend. Police said the Harford County man was the getaway driver, and his accomplice robbed the convenience store while wearing a full-body unicorn costume.
Joseph Philip Svezzese, 27, of the 600 block of Thames Way in Bel Air, is charged with armed robbery; robbery; and theft from $1,500 to under $25,000.
Police said Jacob William Rogge, 28, of the 7900 block of Bradshaw Road in Upper Falls, was clad in a full-body white and pink unicorn costume when he entered the convenience store, smashed a register with a crowbar and demanded money from an employee.
Judging by Joseph’s mug shot, you’d think he would be the one wearing the unicorn costume. “Hey buddy, why the long face?”
Baltimore Police Officer Edward Nero, the man who arrested Freddie Grey, was found not guilty of all charges relating to Grey’s death.
The Orioles may want to postpone the rest of May’s home games.
Freddie Gray arresting officer Edward Nero was found not guilty on all counts by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams.
Nero faced second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of misconduct in office.
Nero’s best decision was declining a jury trial in favor for a judge. There is no way a cop would see an impartial panel in this case.
Gray, a 25-year-old black man from the Sandtown area of Baltimore, died on April 19, 2015 of a spinal cord injury he sustained while in police custody.
His death set off more than a week of protests followed by looting, rioting and arson that prompted a citywide curfew.
This bodes well for the other officers involved, especially since it appears the biggest mistake here was bringing charges in the first place.
