Katy, Barr The Door

In a calm, reasoned decision, House Democrats voted to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt after he refused to turn over parts of the Mueller report – including secret grand jury testimony – which are protected by law.

You’d think politicians would have a vague knowledge of the law.

The Department of Justice blasted House Democrats’ decision Wednesday to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress as “politically motivated and unnecessary.”

“The only side who has made accommodations is the Attorney General, who made extraordinary efforts to provide Congress and the public with information about the Special Counsel’s work,” the DOJ noted in a press statement Wednesday. Barr is unable “to comply with the House Judiciary Committee’s subpoena without violating the law, court rules, and court orders,” the statement added.

If Barr agreed to the Democrats’ terms, they would simply move to have him arrested for revealing grand jury testimony. You see what a farce this has become?

Nadler, a Democrat, scheduled the congressional contempt vote for Wednesday at 10 a.m., after which all Democrats present voted to advance a vote to hold Barr in contempt of Congress in the procedural vote. The vote to hold Barr in contempt occurred Wednesday afternoon.

House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins, a Georgia Republican, blasted Nadler in a statement Monday, saying the House Judiciary Committee chairman’s request would require Barr to break the law. Other Republicans shared similar sentiments.

These leftists have gone completely off the rails. I assume they are trying to appease their base, but the base has gone so far left, there is no room for moderates in the party anymore. I honestly do not know how they won the House, and cannot imagine they would win the presidency in 2020.

The FBI Is Irreparably Broken

The Federal Bureau of Investigation – America’s most corrupt law enforcement agency – is refusing to produce documents requested by Congress. The deadline for the information was April 5th, and nothing has been delivered.

Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed Northern District of Illinois U.S. Attorney John Lausch to oversee the delivery of more than 1.2 million documents demanded by Congress from the FBI. Congressional investigators claim the FBI has ‘slow-walked’ the release of the information needed for the lawmakers’ investigation and some lawyers are saying the DOJ’s appointment is nothing but “political theater” to avoid contempt of Congress.

“I think the problem with the production of the documentation is adding too much supervision,” said DiGenova regarding the appointment of Lausch. “This is all political theater and trying to prevent contempt of Congress. This is all designed to get Paul Ryan not to agree to contempt and an attempt to delay production of the documents until the November election, hoping the Republicans lose the House.”

DiGenova said Wray and Rosenstein are responsible for the delays and should be held in contempt. (H/TAOSHQ)

Agreed. The FBI is deliberately stalling the delivery of the documents, and should be held in contempt. Furthermore, the president should consider dismissing both Wray and Rosenstein for their inaction.
