Not A Smidgen Of Corruption

You may have missed this yesterday, but the Hunter Biden/Burimsa Holdings pay-for-access scandal was swept under the rug. The Biden administration decided to close the investigation and exonerate the “president’s” son.

Beltway PR firm Blue Star Strategies had been under investigation for its work for Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian gas company that had Hunter Biden on its board of directors. Biden’s work for Burisma has raised conflict of interest concerns, since the partnership began when his father was the Obama administration’s chief negotiator with Ukraine. The younger Biden facilitated a consulting deal for Blue Star Strategies in late 2015 to help Burisma burnish its image with U.S. government officials. Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, was the subject of a bribery investigation at the time.

F. Joe Biden is on tape claiming he demanded the Ukraine prosecutor fired when he started looking into Hunter and Burisma’s payoffs. The prosecutor was fired shortly thereafter. Hunter himself never denied he was being paid millions to work for Burisma, despite he never did any actually work.

The end of the Blue Star probe is a positive development for Hunter Biden, who is under investigation over his tax affairs, foreign business dealings, and possible foreign agent activity. The probe has caused a political headache for the White House, which has dodged questions about President Joe Biden’s knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Congressional Republicans have said they plan to reignite investigations into Hunter Biden’s work if they retake control of the House and Senate.

Yeah, sure they will. They’ll hem and haw and decided this “is not who we are” and these corrupt bastards will walk… as they always do.

Prosecutors informed an attorney for Blue Star Strategies that they plan to close the investigation, the Washington Post reported. The attorney, former Obama DOJ official Peter Kadzik, said that prosecutors found no wrongdoing on the part of Blue Star, which was founded by former Clinton administration officials Sally Painter and Karen Tramontano.

It’s almost as if the Biden administration is utterly corrupt and dismissed this entire investigation because Hunter’s daddy “runs the country.”

There are two sets of laws in America, and it’s high time we realize that.

Not A Smidgen Of Corruption

Former losing Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (pictured above) apparently raised her net worth from $109,000 to $3.17 million in just under four years.

When Democrat Stacey Abrams first ran for Georgia governor in 2018, her lackluster personal finances and a hefty bill from the IRS gave Republicans fodder to question how she could manage a state budget when she struggled with her own debts.

As she launches a second bid this year, that’s no longer an issue.

Wow, she must be really good as playing the stock market, or maybe she got a job with an important political firm. I mean, it couldn’t be ill-gotten gains from dark money peddlers. Nope, couldn’t be that.

Abrams now says she’s worth $3.17 million, according to state disclosures filed in March. That’s compared with a net worth of $109,000 when she first ran four years ago.

I guess it’s possible – but not probable – that Abrams could amass such a windfall in such a short time. From my perspective, I always assume every politician is unbelievably corrupt until they prove otherwise. I have zero doubt Stacey “Tank” Abrams is corrupt to the core.

There Is No Joy In Hallandale

Meet longtime Hallandale Beach, Florida Mayor Joy Cooper. Joy entered the political arena to help the less fortunate… until she realized she could become wealthy through the kindness of strangers.

Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper, 57, was charged with three felonies Thursday, accused of meeting with wealthy land developers who were actually undercover FBI agents pretending to seek political favor for a project in Hallandale Beach.

She is alleged to have solicited and accepted $5,000 in political campaign contributions from them that were funneled to her through disbarred Hollywood attorney Alan Koslow.

The agents met with Cooper and Koslow over several months in 2012 as part of a public corruption sting and the meetings were recorded on audio or video.

Cooper, who turned herself in to jail officials Thursday morning, was charged with money laundering, official misconduct and exceeding the limit on campaign finance contributions. Each carries a maximum five-year prison sentence. She also has been charged with soliciting contributions in a government building, a first-degree misdemeanor with a maximum one-year sentence.

For the record, this Sun-Sentinel article is thirty-six paragraphs long, and not once is Cooper’s party affiliation mentioned. Oh, and also for the record, yes, I’d hit that.

Philly DA Indicted For Corruption

In a move which surprised no one, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has been indicted on twenty-three counts of corruption yesterday.

Describing himself as “merely a thankful beggar,” Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams sought thousands of dollars in bribes from deep-pocketed donors seeking his help with their legal woes, federal authorities said Tuesday as they unveiled a 23-count indictment charging the two-term Democrat in a sprawling corruption case.

The only shocking thing about this story is the Philadelphia Inquirer mentioned Williams’ party affiliation in the first paragraph.

Investigators accused the city’s cash-strapped top prosecutor of repeatedly selling his influence and offering to intervene in a case on behalf of one wealthy benefactor. In exchange, they said, Williams accepted luxury trips to foreign locales, a used Jaguar convertible, and other gifts including a $205 Louis Vuitton necktie and a Burberry watch.

When that was not enough to cover the costs of his lush life, Williams allegedly resorted to stealing from his own mother, draining more than $20,000 of Social Security and pension income intended to pay for her nursing home to cover his mortgage and electricity bills.

I get politicians are cheats and liars, but what kind of scumbag steals from their own mother?

Hours after Tuesday’s indictment, Williams offered no indication whether he now intended to resign. His lawyer, Michael Diamondstein, vowed that Williams would fight the charges in court.

If you want to know the core difference between the two parties, it’s this: when Republicans are indicted, they almost always resign. When Democrats are indicted, they almost always stay in office.

As someone who worked with this man, I sincerely hope he spends a decade in federal pound-you-in-the-ass prison.

The Most Corrupt Administration Ever

vanessa-and-john-kerry

The State Department awarded more than $9 million of our money to a program created by John Kerry’s daughter. The money was funneled to Dr. Vanessa Kerry while her father was serving as Secretary of State.

The Department of State funded a Peace Corps program created by Dr. Vanessa Kerry and officials from both agencies. The Peace Corps then awarded the money without competition to a nonprofit Kerry created for the program.

Initially, the Peace Corps awarded Kerry’s group — now called Seed Global Health — with a three-year contract worth $2 million of State Department money on Sept. 10, 2012. Her father was then the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, which oversees both the Department of State and the Peace Corps.

Seed secured a four-year extension in September 2015, again without competition. This time, the Peace Corps gave the nonprofit $6.4 million provided by the Department of State.

Now since most liberals cannot define the word “nepotism,” that will be our word of the day!

nepotism-definition

Now normally practices would be discouraged at best and investigated at worst, but these are not normal times, and this is not a normal administration.

Department of State spokesman John Kirby told TheDCNF that “there is absolutely no conflict of interest here. Secretary Kerry played no role in this decision making while in the Senate or subsequently while at the State Department.”

Whew, that’s a relief. I was worried this would become the Obama administration’s first and only scandal. Seven and a half years without a blemish on the president’s record. How does he do it?

Chaka Fattah Indicted For Corruption

Indicted Congressman Chaka FattahCongressman Chaka Fattah, who represents West Philadelphia, was indicted yesterday for twenty-three counts of corruption, and three counts of being a Mumia abu-Jamal-supporting ass spelunker.

The 59-year-old Democrat, who represents West Philadelphia, was found guilty on all 23 charges he faced, which included racketeering, money laundering and fraud.

Normally I would bitch about CNN’s coverage, but the fact they plastered Chaka Con’s party affiliation across the article is worthy of a golf clap.

The charges stemmed from schemes to repay an illegal $1 million loan to Fattah’s failed 2007 Philadelphia mayoral campaign, with the Justice Department arguing that Fattah used federal grants and nonprofit funds, routed through campaign consultants to repay the loan.

Fattah issued a statement Tuesday afternoon touting his work on education and home foreclosures, saying he’s “proud of that record.”

Someone ought to ask Chaka Chip if he will be proud of his colon after a few months in federal prison. As an aside, I guess the irony of a money launderer handling home foreclosures is lost on the Democrats.

A spokesperson declined comment beyond the statement when asked if the congressman plans on stepping down.

I don’t know about you guys, but am anxiously awaiting Democrats call for Chaka Cake’s resignation. Oh wait, that hasn’t happened yet; and I probably shouldn’t hold my breath for it.
