Logan’s Run

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has been conducting negotiations with Iranian mullahs in order to rescue Obama’s disastrous Iranian nuclear deal. Kerry initiated the discussions without the permission of the Trump administration.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry disclosed that he has been conducting rogue diplomacy with top Iranian officials to salvage the landmark nuclear deal and push the Islamic Republic to negotiate its contested missile program, according to recent remarks.

Kerry, in an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt to promote his new book, said that he has met with Iranian Former Minister Javad Zarif—the former secretary’s onetime negotiating partner—three or four times in recent months behind the Trump administration’s back.

“I think I’ve seen him three or four times,” Kerry said, adding that he has been conducting sensitive diplomacy without the current administration’s authorization. Kerry said he has criticized the current administration in these discussions, chiding it for not pursuing negotiations from Iran, despite the country’s fevered rhetoric about the U.S. president.

They’re not even pretending anymore. Had the roles been reversed, we would be subjected to continuous chants of “Treason!” and “Perfidy!” from the Democrats. Instead, the media has – get this – placed an embargo on the story, so this must never have happened. I’d like to think someone in the Trump administration would crack down on this nonsense, because the longer they take the high road, the longer Obama lackeys will continue to interfere with Trump’s presidency.

While I did not hear the interview – I find Hugh Hewitt a repulsive squish – apparently Kerry got zero pushback from Hewitt on his treachery, which does not surprise me in the least.

Boom Goes The Dynamite!

President Trump pulled out of Barack Obama’s Iranian nuclear deal yesterday, claiming the agreement was “horrrible.”

Why couldn’t you rubes simply vote for Hillary Clinton and let the friendly terrorists keep our money?

President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the landmark nuclear accord with Iran on Tuesday, abruptly restoring harsh sanctions in the most consequential foreign policy action of his presidency. He declared he was making the world safer, but he also deepened his isolation on the world stage and revived doubts about American credibility.

The 2015 agreement, which was negotiated by the Obama administration and included Germany, France and Britain, had lifted most U.S. and international economic sanctions against Iran. In exchange, Iran agreed to restrictions on its nuclear program, making it impossible to produce a bomb and establishing rigorous inspections.

But Trump, a severe critic of the deal dating back to his presidential campaign, said in a televised address from the White House that it was “defective at its core.”

Reading this AP story – particularly the first two paragraphs above – one would think it was an opinion piece, instead of a news item. You see, the president cannot simply withdraw from the deal because it gives a terrorist state everything it desires; no, there has to be another reason, like deepening isolation and American credibility.

Journalism is dead. Thankfully, so is the Iran deal.

Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu received a cache of information pertaining to Iran’s nuclear weapons program. The cache apparently proves Iran has been lying about their program before, and after, the Iranian deal was brokered.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed a cache of documents he says proves Iran lied to the world about its nuclear program for years, even after the 2015 nuclear deal with the world. “Iran did not come clean about its nuclear program,” Netanyahu said in a prime time address in English. Iran, for its part, blasted the speech as “propaganda.”

Presenting 55,000 pages of documents and 183 CDs, Netanyahu said Iran hid an “atomic archive” of documents on its nuclear program.

Of course they did, because they knew Obama wouldn’t care – Valerie Jarrett is an ardent Iranian fangirl – and Hillary Clinton would have also shurgged at the news.

At the press conference, Netanyahu exposed a secret Iranian nuclear project, codenamed “Amad,” which he said had been shelved in 2003, though he said work in the field had continued.

“After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files,” Netanyahu said. “In 2017 Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran.”

“We can now prove that project Amad was a comprehensive program to design, build and test nuclear weapons,” he said. “We can also prove that Iran is secretly storing project Amad material to use at a time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons.” Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizdeh is the head of project Amad.

Hopefully, this will be the impetus President Trump needs to decertify the Iran deal, reclaim our money, and take action against Iran’s nuclear expectations.
