After sustaining a week’s worth of Hamas missiles, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made the decision to fight back. On Friday, Netanyahu sent ground troops into Gaza to wipe out the terrorists.
It’s refreshing to see a leader who doesn’t back down to thugs.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) sent ground troops into Gaza early Friday morning local time, in an effort to uproot Palestinian terrorists who have fired nearly 2,000 rockets at Israeli civilians over the past several days.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted a video message, vowing to restore “quiet and security to the State of Israel.” He added: “The last word was not been said, and this operation will continue as long as necessary.” That may have been a warning to the international community, including the United Nations, not to intervene until Hamas had been defeated.
Explosions were seen over Gaza as Israel launched a massive wave of airstrikes against Hamas targets there.
Personally, I think they should wipe out everyone in the Gaza Strip, then retake it as their own. The “Palestinians” will never stop trying to kill Israelis, so Israel might as well get it over with and steamroll the entire region.
UPDATE: The Israelis are freakin’ awesome!
Meet Israeli Defense Forces Captain Or Ben-Yehuda. Ben-Yehuda is not only young and attractive; she’s also an incredibly brave bad ass.
This young female IDF Captain has just been decorated with the country’s highest honor, the Medal of Valor, for her leadership and bravery in the face of an ambush by nearly two dozen terrorists near the Egyptian border.
Captain Ben-Yehuda was in charge of the Caracal Battalion which was stationed near the Israeli / Egyptian border. When three suspicious vehicles approached the battalion’s position, Captain Ben-Yehuda went with a driver to check them out.
As they approached the first vehicle, nearly two dozen armed men opened fire on their position in an ambush attack. Both Captain Ben-Yehuda and her driver were immediately shot in the volley of gunfire.
I think I’m in love.
Despite suffering from a gunshot wound, Captain Ben-Yehuda managed to get on the radio and call for backup, administer first aid to her driver and return several magazines worth of gunfire back at her attackers.
These are the heroic people our current president likes to snub on a regular basis. They are under constant threat, surrounded by enemies who want to exterminate them, and holding their own against the forces of evil. Meanwhile, Obama just sank a four-putt on a Hawaiian golf course.
