For those of you old enough to remember, the Orlons, a Philadelphia band, put out a song called “South Street.” The song was celebrating the street, which back in the day, was the place everyone went on weekends to shop, eat, and have a good time.
A barrage of bullets from multiple shooters left three people dead and nearly a dozen more wounded after a mass shooting late Saturday night in the city of Philadelphia.
Some of Philadelphia’s finest citizens decided to randomly shoot into a crowd, proving once again black lives do not matter to other blacks.
The shooting happened near the intersection of South Street and Third Street. Several officers were on patrol when they heard numerous gunshots. At least two guns were recovered from the scene, and investigators said one of them had an extended magazine.
“Numerous” shell casings were found along the 200 and 300 blocks of South Street.
In all, 14 people were hit by gunfire. Of those victims, three people are dead and 11 more are wounded, according to police.
The good news is Soros-appointed D.A. Larry Krasner will likely give the shooters probation.
To give you an idea of Saturday night’s carnage, the Homicide Division responded, as did the Non-Fatal Shooting Teams, plus the Officer-Involved Shooting Team, since at least one officer returned fire.
