Hug Your Children

Today, I will be attending a viewing for an extended family member. It will be my fourth funeral since March. I’m not going into too much detail, but a young person in my extended family committed suicide on January 5th. The family member was only eighteen years old.

Since the original lockdowns in March, the suicide rates in my division have skyrocketed. People are losing their jobs, losing their freedom, and losing their ability to cope. Sadly, some decide they have no other choice, and they think the only way out is to end their lives.

To say this is a terrible tragedy for our family is a gross understatement. The family member was a terrific kid, a great surfer, and a brilliant person. I cannot fathom what the parents – also great people, by the way – must be feeling right now.

Hug your children. If you know someone having difficulty during the lockdowns, this is the site for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Playboy Playmate Found Dead

Former Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly was found dead in her residence. She was 33.

Former Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly, who struggled with substance abuse, has been found dead in her Texas home.

Mattingly’s sister Christy and brother Billy said their sister took her own life last week at her home in Austin and she reportedly left a suicide note.

The family said she had been living in Texas for the past two years and struggling with substance abuse but was “trying to get her life back on track.” The virus and subsequent shelter-in-place order, her family said, did not help matters.

We’re seeing more of this at work. The lockdown is having detrimental effects on those with substance abuse issues and psychological issues like depression. It’s always a shame when someone takes their own life, but to do so at thirty-three is a tragedy. RIP Ashley.

Jeffrey Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself

The FBI will be investigating the death of uber-pedophile Jeffrey Epstein while he was in federal custody. Epstein, who many believe had dirt of all sorts of powerful and political bigwigs, was found dead of an alleged hanging but several questions popped up after the incident.

The FBI is reportedly looking into a possible “criminal enterprise” involved in the death of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Fox News, Federal Bureau of Prisons Director Kathleen Hawk Sawyer testified on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, revealing, “The FBI is involved and they are looking at criminal enterprise” in his death.

Epstein died in Manhattan Correctional Center in New York City in August in what was ruled a suicide. However, his death a spurred a number of theories about other possible causes of his death.

Now I have ZERO faith in the investigative efforts of the FBI. In my opinion, it is a sham to satiate those who demand “transparency.” That said, the fact his two guards failed to check on him the night of his death, and the fact all video the footage “malfunctioned” makes me believe he was murdered.

So Senseless

A search has been initiated to find the body of a man who jumped off the Grand Canyon Skywalk this weekend. The man allegedly climbed over the barrier and leaped to his death for reasons unknown.

Authorities are trying to locate the body of a man who climbed over a safety barrier at the Grand Canyon Skywalk and apparently jumped to his death.

They say the 28-year-old visitor to the tourist spot on the Hualapai reservation outside Grand Canyon National Park jumped around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Skywalk opened in 2007. It’s a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway that juts about 70 feet over the canyon overlooking the Colorado River. Signs warn tourists not to venture too close to the edge as a vertical drop from the Skywalk is between 500 feet and 800 feet.

I don’t understand this. I mean, dealing with depression, I get how people have these thoughts, but often times these victims are inconveniencing those left behind. Forget the man’s family for a minute, but consider the rangers and search crews who have to trek into the Canyon, find the body and transport it back to the access roads. It’s just so selfish.

Jeffrey Epstein Commits “Suicide”

Alleged sex trafficker and billionaire Democrat donor Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell after an apparent “suicide.” The incident occurred a day after information about his alleged co-conspirators was released.

While I will continue to encircle the word “suicide” with air quotes, there is no evidence foul play was involved. Well, except for the fact Bill Clinton and many other prominent, wealthy men were allegedly close friends with Epstein. Besides, if the media can play up bogus conspiracy theories about President Trump, I can play by their rules, too.

The reported suicide of Democrat-affiliated sex predator Jeffrey Epstein earlier this morning has journalists and other concerned citizens demanding answers.

But they shouldn’t expect any to arise soon, if ever, as a report from New Right founder Michael Coudrey indicates that a mysterious camera malfunction has prevented any footage of Epstein’s alleged suicide from being captured.

Interesting. Not really proof of anything, but the preponderance of evidence is… interesting.

Rampant speculation and conspiracy theories are reaching a fever pitch as a result of the incredibly suspect circumstances around Epstein’s alleged suicide.

So right now we know – or at least someone is reporting – the following: 1. One camera in a (likely) billion-dollar federal detention facility had a malfunction at the exact time Epstein decided to hang himself. [The rest of these coincidences were reported in the New York Times.] 2. Epstein was on suicide watch after a previous “suicide” attempt, but the watch was lifted prior to the successful “suicide.” 3. Epstein was supposed to have a cellmate, but that person was transferred before the incident, and another cellmate was not assigned. 4. Epstein was supposed to be checked on every half hour that evening, but, for reasons unknown, that procedure was not followed.

Just yesterday, several prominent officials who served in the administration of former President Bill Clinton were implicated as Epstein’s co-conspirators, abusing child prostitutes as apart of his illicit sex trafficking network, in court documents released to the public. The civil lawsuits against Epstein will continue despite his sudden and suspicious demise.

Now, if I may play Devil’s Advocate, mistakes – read: fuck-ups – happen all the time in cell rooms. There have been a few attempted suicides in my department’s cell blocks over the decades, but sheer volume makes it difficult to check on everyone frequently. It’s rare, but it happens. That said, federal detention facilities have more manpower, better equipment, and strict rules when it comes to procedures, inmate checks, etc. Do suicides occur in federal prisons? Of course. It’s the leading cause of death, and a third of all causes.

That said, the suicide rate is about 50 per 100,000 prisoners, so it’s not an epidemic. I believe that’s because most federal corrections officers take their job seriously, and understand how important the protocols are. Plus, you know, they’dd like to keep their jobs.

I honestly don’t know what happened in the Epstein case, but the coincidences demand a thorough investigation. Sadly, considering the co-conspirators involved, I doubt we’ll ever know the truth.

Tolerant SJWs Drive Woman To Suicide

Meet Mercedes Grabowski; known colloquially by her stage name, August Ames.

Mercedes was an adult film actress who had the audacity to state her reluctance to work with male actors who dabbled in gay pr0n. That was apparently the wrong opinion, and the social justice warriors destroyed her on social media. The outcome was heartbreaking.

Porn star August Ames committed suicide Tuesday. Ames, whose real name was Mercedes Grabowski, was apparently well-known and well-liked in the, ahem, “industry.” She was young, only 23, and married.

Ames was being bullied heavily online, including several specific suggestions that she kill herself. Ames had tweeted that she had backed out of a sex scene because it wasn’t disclosed that the man she was supposed to have sex with had done gay porn. Apparently, the reticence of women to work with “crossovers” is fairly common and long accepted in porn.

I refused to add the last part of Hemingway’s first paragraph because it was inappropriately snarky and condescending of the victim.

The day Ames killed herself, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments about a case involving a Colorado cake baker who doesn’t want to make cakes for gay weddings. The baker, quite understandably and credibly, insists there’s a rather large expressive and artistic component to his vocation, so he shouldn’t be forced to endorse any particular message or religious ceremony he disagrees with. The counterargument is that it’s just a cake, and as long as you’re open for business, you have to serve anyone without discrimination.

Well, I’m scratching my head trying to figure out how Ames’s detractors weren’t extending the exact same logic of “public accommodation” to her. After all, she’s open for business, if you want to call it that. Wouldn’t it be discrimination to exclude working with an entire class of people?

Except that last I checked, there’s a word for when a woman is threatened and bullied into sex with someone she feels uncomfortable with, for any reason whatsoever: “Rape.” Again, it’s worth noting that Ames and other performers believably insist that their aversion is simply about health risks, not discrimination.

Leftists couldn’t care less if their targets end their own lives. In their mind, they see that as a win; one less “hater” in the world. I feel badly for Mercedes, for her husband, and their family. I also hope there is an investigation into the SJWs who bullied her; Aiding or Soliciting Suicide is a felony.
