The United States military is still smearing Al Qaeda thugs all over the ground in Syria, and they’re doing it with more panache than usual. Ladies, gentlemen, Daniel-san, I give you the Ninja Bomb.
The US-led coalition in Syria is believed to have used a “secret,” highly advanced missile filled with knives to take out two al Qaeda commanders in the country last weekend.
The weapon, dubbed the “ninja bomb,” fatally struck the two terrorist leaders — Jordanian Qassam ul-Urdini and Yemeni Bilal al-Sanaani — in their SUV as they traveled through northwestern Syria Sunday night.
But the modern projectile managed to leave the vehicle shockingly untouched in the attack. Video circulating from the scene appears to show the targeted SUV with a caved-in roof and damaged front windshield, with the blast leaving several of the vehicles’ tinted windows perfectly intact.
The 100-pound missile, formally the Hellfire R9X, doesn’t explode and instead relies on six knives that are stored inside and spring out moments before impact.
So apparently, the U.S. military is now less Black Hawk Down and more West Side Story.
President Trump has decided to bring our forces home from Syria after the decimation of ISIS and its despicable allies.
President Donald Trump has begun withdrawing troops from Syria, claiming victory in the war against the Islamic State, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced.
“We have started returning United States troops home as we transition to the next phase of this campaign,” Sanders declared. “The United States and our allies stand ready to re-engage at all levels to defend American interests whenever necessary, and we will continue to work together to deny radical Islamist terrorists territory, funding, support, and any means of infiltrating our borders.”
“The Coalition has liberated the ISIS-held territory, but the campaign against ISIS is not over,” Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White said Wednesday. “We have started the process of returning U.S. troops home from Syria as we transition to the next phase of the campaign.”
Wait a minute, we elected a Republican president who doesn’t believe in fighting endless wars? What the hell kind of garbage is this?! Honestly, it might be time to take our forces out of Afghanistan, too. Let the goat f**kers kill each other for a while.
U.N Ambassador Nikki Haley defended President Trump’s retaliatory attacks in Syria this week, and warned the U.S would bring the rain if Assad uses chemical weapons again.
As Russia and the U.S. traded barbs at the United Nations over the coalition strike on Syria, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley warned that the U.S. is “locked and loaded” should the Syrian regime decide to use chemical weapons again.
“I spoke to President Trump this morning and he said if the Syrian regime uses this poisonous gas again, the United States is locked and loaded,” Haley said at an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting called by Russia. “When our president draws a red line, our president enforces the red line,” she added, referencing former President Barack Obama’s failure to follow through on his threat to use military force in Syria should the Assad regime use illegal chemical weapons.
Wow, a president who takes action when a red line is crossed? How refreshing. For someone who was a rabid Never Trumper during the election, Nikki Haley has been a near-perfect U.N. ambassador.
An American strike fighter destroyed a T-72 main battle tank Saturday. The tank was being operated by pro-Syrian forces, and was firing on U.S. special operations personnel.
A US jet operating in Syria destroyed a Russian-made T-72 battle tank near Al Tabiyeh, Syria, Saturday.
The US has been training, equipping, and backing the SDF rebels in Syria’s civil war for years as Russia has provided similar assistance to forces loyal to the Syrian government in close proximity.
Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson first reported the news of the tank’s destruction and said three crew members were killed, though their identities and affiliations were unclear. Tomlinson said the tank was destroyed after “pro-regime forces” fired on US special operations troops near the location where 500 pro-government forces attacked a headquarters used by SDF and US troops last week.
This… will get messy. Between destroying a Russian tank and Syria shooting down an Israeli fighter, the Syrian conflict just got much more complicated.
President Trump the launch of over fifty Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian military installation. The order was given in retaliation for Bashar al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons.
The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was Syria’s use of banned chemical weapons that killed at least 100 people.
Two U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea fired 59 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha’irat in Homs province in western Syria. That’s the airfield from which the United States believes the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad fired the banned weapons.
There was no immediate word on casualties. U.S. officials [said] people were not targeted and that aircraft and infrastructure at the site were hit, including the runway and gas fuel pumps.
While I am all for punishing the murderous Assad, the players in this civil war are equally unsavory. Assad is backed by Putin, and the “resistance” is reportedly in bed with ISIS. In my opinion, an escalation in Syria would be a mistake.
