New Jersey is arguably one of the worst states on the entire eastern seaboard. The state is filled with uber-leftists, high taxes, and politicians who believe the Constitution is simply a document to be avoided.
Take New Jersey’s Phil Murphy, for example; the worst governor in America.
During a wide-ranging interview on Wednesday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Carlson asked Murphy about New Jersey synagogue congregants who were “arrested and charged for being in a synagogue together.”
“Now, the Bill of Rights, as you well know, protects Americans’ right, enshrines their right to practice their religion as they see fit and to congregate together, to assemble peacefully,” Carlson said. “By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights in issuing this order? How do you have the power to do that?”
“That’s above my pay grade, Tucker,” Murphy responded. “I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this…”
Not thinking about the Bill of Rights is the default setting for Democrat politicians, especially when there are more important items on the agenda; such as acquisition of power.
“We have to find a different way to worship. I think that’s the point,” said the New Jersey governor.
“Government’s not allowed to tell people how to worship,” said Carlson.
That’s also written somewhere in the Constitution… let me flip through the pages, oh yeah, here it is, THE FIRST AMENDMENT! I would question how Murphy has not been recalled, but then I remembered New Jersey is a garbage state filled with people who think he’s doing a bang-up job. Enjoy your fascism, New Jersey; it looks good on you.
By the way, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf – another leftist stooge – has mandated everyone must wear a mask when they head out to essential businesses. The irony here is Wolf will veto a bill which would reopen all of the state’s businesses, so you won’t have to wear a mask to many places.
Wolf made his bones as a businessman, so his decision to ruin the state’s economy is puzzling.
