Today’s services revolve around the man who jump-started the Marvel movie empire: Wesley Snipes.
Wesley Trent Snipes (July 31, 1962) is an American actor, director, film producer, martial artist, and author. His prominent film roles include New Jack City (1991), White Men Can’t Jump (1992), Passenger 57 (1992), Demolition Man (1993), and the Marvel Comics character Blade in the Blade film trilogy (1998–2004).
He formed a production company, Amen-Ra Films, in 1991, and a subsidiary, Black Dot Media, to develop projects for film and television. He has been training in martial arts since the age of 12, earning a 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and 2nd dan black belt in Hapkido.
The Blade films were fantastic – well, I and II were – and they transformed Snipes from a rising star to a mega-celebrity. The original Blade film was the first Marvel movie which truly killed at the box office, and had a hand in the juggernaut which is the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
